Ready to take a BIG Step?
I believe I know one HUGE reason why Christ-followers are not making a bigger impact on our world: They/we feel ill-equipped. We feel unqualified, unprepared. I hear that often when sincere Christians are asked to lead a small group or head up a team of volunteers. I see it when Christians ease out of discussions that require them to speak up and defend our beliefs.
Let me ask you a question: What is your spiritual mission in life? Stop. Don’t just parrot our church’s mission statement (Love God, Love People, Do Something about it.) What is YOUR spiritual vision/mission/destiny/calling? And what are you doing to get there?
I have a very strong suggestion for you. Dr. Doug Dorman is leading a Discipleship Institute that begins next week. Most spiritual steps, in all honesty, are small and incremental. Doug’s Your Next Step Institute helps you take big leaps forward. Is it easy? No. Convenient? Nope. But hey – Matt Brown and Tim Williams have completed it, so it can’t be THAT tough. 
I encourage you to jump in – especially if you’re a ROCK’er. 1 or 2 ROCK folks are already signed up. You will never see the world, the Bible, or ministry through the same eyes. Follow the link below, or use the contact info. I know that you have 1000 reasons why you’re too busy, broke, or whatever. It might just be time for you to determine how much you want to change the world.
